Each Viktorian guitar harnesses the best and latest technology to deliver an acoustic quality that that exceeds expectations.  It all starts with a hand sculpted model of foam and wood which is tested for comfortabilitly and ergonomics.  Once the mock-up model goes through a series of alterations and revisions to achieve the best design, the foam is hardened, the wood removed and a negative mold is constructed.  The dimensions are recorded with 3D computer aided design software and are tested extensively for tensile strength and durability.  Special attention is given to ergonomics and playability to assure that each model feels comfortable while playing sitting, standing or moving around the stage.

Our guitars feature a hollow body casing that includes the body, neck and head as a single component.  This means there are no parts needed to be assembled and no spaces within the body for acoustic resonance to be disrupted.  The inherent characteristics of carbon fiber also serve as an efficient conductor of sound wave energy that is echoed within the hollow chamber.  The result is an incredibly clear and full body sound that is remarkably loud, pure and unique.  Once the casing is completed, the soundboard, frets and tuners are fit into place.  Only carbon fiber has the properties of being extraordinarily light weight, incredibly strong and reflexive to resonate energy that enables Viktorian instruments to achieve such a brilliant sound.  This revolutionary approach to guitar construction cannot be achieved through traditional assembly and is one of the many benefits of implementing a carbon fiber design.

Once the carbon fiber casing is completed, patent pending features are added within the hollow chamber to further enhance the acoustics of the instrument.  These design features represent the culmination of over 40 years of experience developed by master luthier Boaz Elkayam and are a perfect complement to enhance the qualities inherent in a carbon fiber design.
